Highly responsible and motivated individual that works very close with the Original Equipment Manufacturing customer in a sales and program management. The OEM Sales Program Manager works directly with identified and assigned OEM customers to maximize development program coordination, revenue generation and customer satisfaction for CMG, all products and services. Individual will identify appropriate sales opportunities in the early phases of development and then manages and support them through the proposal, development, certification and production implementation stages. The OEM Sales Program Manager will be responsible for customer relationship management in accordance with direction from Director OEM Sales. Individual will be responsible for meeting program and sales goals and objectives as assigned.
- Create quotes and proposals while serving as a sales and technical advisor and intercompany program manager- Manage assigned OEM customers for all CMG products and services and act as primary program liaison- Manage complex projects between departments, divisions and customers - Effective planning to conduct sales and technical presentations by meeting with customers on a routine basis.- Act as main point of contact for all OEM customer related matters, incl. function, quality, design, specification, application, and delivered condition of products and facilitates coordination with other departments. - Lead and facilitate all customer supplier communication and joint program coordination- Prepare reports, provide forecast and meet goals and track customer performance to specific metrics and deliverables. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer base.
- Use all available processes, procedures as well as other resources in the company to effectively accelerate, close and manage opportunities and manage customer relationships. - Assist in developing sales strategies and campaigns to help gain market share and secure positions on existing and new platforms. - Travel to customer locations, trade shows, conferences, etc., to maximize CMG presence and positive positing with customer. - Work closely with OEM Account Coordinator.- Follow through on calls and tasks to insure they are properly closed.- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or aviation related field or equivalent experience in aviation pr technical customer related field. Project or Program Management experience required
FAA private pilot certificate or FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate a plus.
Communication and Comprehension - Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are required.- Comfortable in public speaking to a variety of audiences. - Additional foreign language abilities a plus.Computer and Technical - Strong competency in the use of a personal computer including, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.- Proficiency in MS Project- Experience with ERP and CRM programs
This position is located in Mobile, AL
There is at times significant domestic and international travel associated with this position.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, including long range air travel. Ability to effectively adapt to time zone changes. Ability to work and transverse safety sensitive manufacturing, assembly and,or aviation services work areas. Ability to lift 10 pounds repeatedly and lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to bending, reaching, and kneeling repeatedly.
